Then you get to yoga at home - 7 tips

You notice that yoga gives you increased well-being. Less stress, more beautiful body and a lighter breath, but you can not go to the gym or the studio as their times do not fit your life schedule so you want to yoga at home. Here are my 6 quick quick tips for thinking about getting yoga in your everyday life in your home.

  1. Customize your yoga after your life. Do you have a lot to do and some time over was realistic and plan in two to three 15-30 minutes yoga while in a week. Not 5 90minutes classes. Are you morning red make sure to have yoga for lunch or evening. If you are a morning spike, perhaps it's easiest and most likely to turn off yoga if you set 30 minutes earlier than you do today. If you have children, you may want to divide the physical practice to when they are awake and they may want to hang out with you on the carpet. Then do meditation as they go and lay down.
  2. What is your starting point and when is it easier to start yoga underneath?
  3. BE SATISFIED! With yoga like all exercise, start a little and often and be happy to get started! There must not be much every time for it to count. You do not need to gather your minutes on the carpet and report them to anyone. Do it for you, then those 8 minutes will be exactly what you need.
  4. Invest in a good carpet. No yoga should not be a material sport, but nobody likes to stand and slide on the carpet, it sucks the muster from trying to get started. Do you know that you, like me, quickly get moist on your hands, it's worth buying a carpet with better grip from the beginning. Are you drier about your hands, a cheap carpet can work.
  5. Do what suits you! Do you think it's fun with calm yoga doing it. Want a party playlist on and flow fast - run on! Yoga does not have to be death-grave for it to "give you something" so start by making what feels most interesting right now, thus increasing the likelihood of returning to the carpet. Once you have built up a regularity, you can explore what feels a bit more courageous or strange.
  6. Find your favorites online. I've shared several videos of different lengths on my youtube channel, there are also Yogobe, YogaGlo and other services that offer yoga with awesome teachers. If it always sticks you do not know what to do when you get to the carpet - let any of us guide you.
  7. Plan, plan, plan. Start by creating a place at home where you can actually exercise your yoga. If there is a dedicated space where your carpet may remain, otherwise a surface will clear away when the carpet is going to appear. Then make a plan A, B and C. A = if everything goes according to plan. B = when life happens and some things did not get right as you thought. C = when everything hurts and you only have 5 minutes left. Then you always get something done, feel comfortable with yourself, start creating a habit and step by step start giving yourself and your yoga a priority.
